FAYETTEVILLE PRIDE 2011 "COMMUNITY UNITE"

Event: FAYETTEVILLE BLACK PRIDE 2011
Date: Wednesday, August 17^th, 2011 through Sunday, August 21^st, 2011

 Description:We are the official Black Gay Pride Organization of Fayetteville since 2010.  Fayetteville Black Pride has five days of non-stop events to celebrate Gay Pride in our community.  These events include skating parties, business seminars, pool parties , Gay proms, Gay Day in the park, HIV testing & awareness and much more.

Purpose:LGBT pride or gay pride is the concept that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people should be proud of their sexual orientation and gender identity.  The movement has three main premises:
 1) Encourage our community to be proud of their sexual orientation and gender identity, 2) To teach others that diversity is a gift we should embrace, 3) Demonstrate that sexual orientation and gender identity are inherent and cannot be intentionally altered.

Goal:Our goal is to reach everyone in the African-American LGBT community as well as other nationalities all around to participate in this event
